Text Box: Text Box: Senter has found a new home!

Congratulations to Heather Bolding of Noble Farms in Clinton, IN. She is the new owner of our beautiful Oldenburg stallion, Senter Stage.

I’m so pleased that he will now have a chance to further his training and be much more active on the show circuit.

He will also be standing at stud to outside mares this season, so if you want to breed your mare to get one of Senter's wonderful foals, be sure to
contact Heather for more information.

Goodbye Senter! We wish you a lifetime of success at your new home!

Senter Stage

Superb Bloodlines

Senter’s father Spectrum is one of the renowned Silverwood stallions. His grandfathers are the world-famous Rainbow and Peron, who was the highest scoring stallion in Olympic history.  Also in his line is the well-known dressage sire, Lungau.

A Talented Athlete

Senter is well-balanced and agile, with lovely gaits and very free shoulder movement.

At his AWR inspection, the judge loved his extended trot, carriage, elasticity, and quietness, and gave him an outstanding score of 8.5 for free jumping.

Senter has had a year of professional training and is going beautifully under saddle and over fences, both in the ring and cross country, with other horses as well as alone.

With his carriage and movement, he would also be a natural for upper-level dressage work.

Senter’s trainer said, “He is a GREAT horse, with lots of heart, and TONS of talent!!  He is solid as a rock, and willing as can be!”

Awesome Temperament

Senter is an extremely sweet-tempered stallion, easy to handle, responsive, and always eager to please.

Intelligent and well-mannered, Senter really does live up to his name:  He loves being the center of attention, and he loves to work.  He adores having his face rubbed and makes the most comically blissful faces when you scratch his withers.

He has such a wonderful temperament that he goes equally well whether ridden by a 6 foot tall man or a petite 15 year old girl.  He’s gentle and obedient even when handled by non-horse-savvy husbands.

So far, his foals have also demonstrated that same willing, easy temperament.

A Potent Sire

Senter produces beautiful, athletic foals with fantastic temperaments.  His first two years of breeding, he bred only my small herd of sport horse mares, producing nine stunning foals.

In 2008, he started professional training and stood at stud to outside mares for the first time.  Despite the heavy work load, Senter covered 16 mares and all of them but one took on the first try.  He’s very fertile!

His trainer commented, “He had a completely full book in 2008, but still managed to be PERFECT under saddle!!”

He has bred superior mares of many breeds, including Paints, Holsteiners, Dutch Warmbloods, Oldenburgs, Spotted Drafts, and Thoroughbreds.

His 2009 stud fee was $1,000.  He has done shipped semen as well as live cover, and is always a gentleman whether he is doing hand breeding with a single mare or pasture breeding with a small herd.

He is registered with the German Oldenburg Verband and is approved for breeding with the American Warmblood Registry.
